Hey, Gandalf! Where did you get this carriage??? :udrool: :udrool: :udrool:

For some reason the Acela passenger car interiors are messed up in my Trainz. I did everything as instructed in the various Acela threads, and I got the Acela locomotive cab interiors to work fine.

The Acela passenger car cab interiors are messed up as in chairs looking truncated or chopped off. Some other chairs are just plain not there.

Here's a couple of screenshots of what I'm referring to...

I'm using TRS 2006.

Any ideas how to fix these messed up chairs and stuff? I have set the Train Poly Count to maximum, and it doesn't help.

Ugh! :p That better not happen to me, or Acela cars go bye bye in the trash.:hehe:

I posted a thread about this problem a month or so ago, and I have yet to recieve any advice, feedback, or help on resolving this so that these car interiors work correctly instead of having these messed up chairs.

Sorry, me no can help. Still guessing if the same thing might happen to me, or not. If they do, me no fix, acela cars go bye bye.:hehe:

You will have to do some work on the to get them to work in TRS06/TC. search the forum here and you should find a thread or two explaining what needs to be done.

I did the searches over a month ago about the Config.txt fixes. I did the whole Config.txt replacement trick for the Acela locomotive cab, and the cab works fine for me in TRS 2006.

The problem is, I also did the Config.txt fix for the passenger car cab views, the replacing of 2 or 3 lines of Config.txt trick. The passenger car cab views were invisible (not showing up at all) before that fix, and then I get all these messed up chairs (but a visible cab view) AFTER I do the fix.

Am I missing something here?

Here's the "fixes" I was referring to earlier.

This one... you select the whole text in Config.txt in the Acela HSEL cab interior folder (when you open for edit in Explorer). Replace the whole text in the file with the following text block (copy + paste). Don't include the ==='s.

Now here's the "fix" for the passenger cab interiors. However, after doing this, I *STILL* get the messed up chairs as seen in my screenshots.

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showpost.php?p=38307&postcount=82

I'm still frustrated. I really want the interiors of the Acela passenger cars to look as it should be, with full chairs and everything, not truncated or invisible or chopped off ones.
