Time for a bit of an update.

Hi all, if you have been wondering if this died, no it hasnt :), i've been working on trying to get a few of my projects done for release, For this package, i've rebuilt my St Louis Baggage car (formerly a hospital car) and have added a bunch of cool things to the texture aka chipping paint, the welding scars from the door and a few water stains. I have also been working on rebuilding my original CBQ diner as i felt it could be alot more accurate.

Enjoy the pics and more info to come!

Vermonter Baggage Rebuild Project

This is my rebuilt vermonter baggage car, shes only 4k of polys, roughly 5 of these equals a typical passenger car, i think it looks alot more realistic and flexible from my previous version.

These cars look really great. So you rebuilt your Vermonter, eh? Nice. I'm glad they're low on polys now, not that it was a problem for me ;)

Good work Corey!

Now heres a classic car that was most commonly on the very back of the train, it was used as a place for off duty crews to sleep, shower or just hang out, there was also baggage space. On the lake shore limited, the Baggage Dorm was used to handle New York Bound passenger's baggage, where as the full baggage car went to boston.

Heres a screenie, still needs a few vents and underbody equipment, but is fairly done!

These look absoultely awsome. They bring back memories of sitting at Princeton Junction in the early 90's watching E60s pulling the Silver Service trains and the all heritage Broadway Limited. This is the most anticipated release in my book. Keep up the great work. :D:D

hey, can i make one request?
Back in the 50's and 60's ATSF had odd looking cars that allowed the train to step up from a single level passenger car to a double level car like a superliner.
do you think you can make any?

@LVman

I'm pretty sure he has one somewhere, however I don't think its being worked on at the moment. There is interest in such a thing, and probably when all these other cars are finished it will be worked on. :)
