Ooooooo a door, I could use a texture mesh of that door. Any chance you could send me a img file of that roll up door (not the whole engine just the door you painted on there)?

I actually went on google and typed in roll up door and it is like the third picture i just took it out of there and put it on the train now here are some half finished shots. but i have one question it there a way to fix the numbers that i put on the boards on the front b/c one is right and the other is backwards but there is only 1 number board texture

the amfleets are magicland's payware set, and the horizon cars are availible on Trainz Commuter Rail

So whats the point in a roll up door on the engine?? I never found a point in that ¿ ? ¿

On a real cabbage unit the engine has been removed from the body, thus leaving the frame as a hollow cavity. Amtrak then installed the roll up doors on the sides so that they could be used as baggage cars in addition to their new designation as a 'cab car'.
ie: they (the f40phs) were gutted and turned into combination baggage car, cab cars....... mix the two words cab and baggage and you get 'cabbage' their slang name

cheers

Yes many of the Chicago corridor trains use this setup, that's why most of the NPCU's (Non-Powered Control Units) or "cabbages" are based out of CUS.

They normally run with a P42DC on one end (the power for the consist), some coaches then a cabbage at the other end, letting the train have checked baggage without utilizing a full baggage car.

Currently on the drawing table is to make an AEM-7 cabbage when they start getting retired.
