American Intermodal: Released

Okay, i made a little test route to try the pack on. The thing is, i put a truck and chassis in the loading zone, the chassis loaded with a 40' container, as well as a single locomotive and empty husky stack. The crane will not pickup the container loaded on the chassis, therefore stopping the whole process. I have consulted the guide but nothing has worked. Ideas? This seems like a cool pack to use, if only i could actually use it.

the train must trigger the industry to start. if it does start, but then says it is finished without doing anything, then one of the items you have used can not transfer the load.

I am having a heck of a time clicking on the Portal to configure it. Does anyone have any tips on how to open them? Thanks, Danny

Try rotating directly overhead and clicking the dotted lines between the red lettering.

Nice job guys! I took a quick look at the route yesterday after I downloaded. Will give it a spin around when I get a chance.

Is there a way to merge this into Midwest Grain 4.0 and the Cold Storage route, which I already merged into Midwest Grain with a bit of modification? :)

I like the new and improved track. It's a nice update to the track we've been using for many, many years now.

Hi Chris2001trainz2010

I created a new session from the basic session included and placed a trackmark at the end of the loading/unloading track. The train is loaded with containers and doesn't need an Unload command, just a Navigate to Trackmark command. When the train stops between the markers there is a delay of a few seconds and then the animation starts.

You can also uncouple the locomotive and drive it away and the animation continues.

Regards

Brian

the industry is triggered when you stop a train over the location of the center trigger (large blue mark in surveyor, named item in driver) it should then pause for 60 seconds to give you time to position or uncouple the cars if you wish, then the industry will take over that section of the train with the car that triggered the operation and carry out the load or unload process.

my personal preference is to do as they do in real life and have chassis loaded or unloaded already waiting along the track - as many as you can fit. it is not typical in the real world to loop the trucks through but we thought this was a good example of being able to move the items off site.

I like how the industry works, with it happening automatically without the need for an order, hope to see it used for future industries.

Okay, after trying the suggestions above, nothing has worked. Is the guide being updated again soon? Or is someone capapble of giving a step-by-step on how to set everything up for rproduction?

Sorry for being a pain, but i'd like to actually USE the pack i paid 25 bucks for.

Are these some items that come with the $30 package on the route page?

Hey guys what's up, I've downloaded this map twice and reinstalled it twice I'm struggling to receive all the ground textures can anybody help point me in the direction I need to find them?

Nevermind, I found that those 3 are part of the "Facility" payware thing. Well, I guess I'm not finishing getting the entire route right now since I'm not in the position to get the AI Payware Packs due to subscribing to Club Car (side note: how long does it usually take to activate Club Car on an account? Just curious because I am excited for the CC content when it is activated).

Any textures/assets that aren't on the DLS or built-in for TS12 SP1 (HF4) should be included in the dependencies packs. Make sure you've gone to this page (http://jointedrail.com/index.php/ro...ntermodal.html#product_tabs_additional_tabbed) and downloaded all of the required content packs. Can always give kuids and I can try to find what you're missing as well.

Hmm, looks like a few textures we left out of packaging/replacement. They can be found here: https://sites.google.com/site/michi.../MTR Ground Textures 1.cdp?attredirects=0&d=1

And the 45324 assets are all a part of the payware addon, and include the components to the intermodal industry. They aren't essential to the route itself though, and it should be operational without them.

Sorry for the silly question, but can someone explain how to load the 40ft containers on the train. I figured out how to unload them, just need a bit more info on how to load them. I read the manual, but still a bit confused. Thank you!

Hi guys, Sorry to be a pain, but I also read the manual and I was able to set it up as indicated. I've only been successful in "Static mode" to unload three (3) 40ft containers from a train of eight Wellcars, then it went on strike and didn't finish the job. In "Dynamic mode", I had no luck at all (maybe it might be wise to include specific driver commands, or whether the 'Crane' requires additional commands, etc. ). However I've not been able to load an empty train from the Cheetah Chassis via the Mi-Jack crane in "Static or Dynamic mode". There still must be something missing in the instructions, such as,.... Placement of train to the 'Ramp' or in the 'Loading Area' (maybe a specific track-mark is required ?). I think we are all looking for specifics,...such as "If you do this, and that, then you can expect this to happen". We need something a little more clearer, thanks,
