Alstair showing up as driver

I've assigned different drivers for my locos but Alstair shows up instead. He appears in the SD40-2 EVWR locos and in the C40-8w NS #8322. I've disabled/deleted him in CMP but he won't go away. I've checked the config files but no luck. Is there a way to make him go away? Nothing personal, just want some USA looking drivers. Thanks.

I think his mesh is the generic mesh for drivers no matter who you use if there is no mesh provided.

If you search on DriverAlastair (kuid:-3:10128) and then right click and choose View Dependent Assets that will show you the drivers that use that mesh. Choosing a driver character that’s not on the list should get rid of Alastair in the cab. I personally like the animated drivers by dricketts:

Rick, I also like Dricketts drivers but I cannot find them on my drivers list. When I go into edit session and then Driver, add another driver they do not show. I'm looking for USA Driver 02 thru 05. Am I wrong? How do I get them into a loco? Thanks.

I'm using TRS12 without the patches if that helps.

USA Driver 02-05 are the mesh files used by the drivers I listed above. The drivers are the ones that show up in Surveyor, not the meshes. When you want to add them to a session look for the driver name (G Stuckey, JT Reynolds, etc.) in the driver list.

Before you attempt to add them in surveyor, check in CM to make sure they don't have errors. You can filter on Category=Driver + Author=dricketts to find them. Mine show up in CM as modified, but that's probably because I brought them over from TS2010 rather than downloading them again.
