AJS Superscript Problems

Hi,

Last week I downloaded an asset and it downloaded a newer version of the AJS superscript. It said it had a number of errors. It causes trainz to crash whenever you place an item using the script on the layout - and there are quite a lot of assets that depend on it.
These are the errors it came up with:

Error: Could not load texture 'C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2006/local/content a6c6blye824/int=semitransparent'.
Error: The primary and alpha texture are not the same size for 'C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2006/local/content a6c6blye824/icon-re.texture.txt'
Error: The tag 'info-url' is not permitted within this container. (Container type 'library')

The old kuid (<kuid2:122285:508:9>) worked perfectly but the new one is causing problems (<kuid2:122285:508:15>).:'(

Is there any way I can get it to work or alternativley is there anyone else who still has the older version <kuid2:122285:508:9> who would be able to send it to me. This is on TRS2006

<kuid2:122285:508:15> is a TS2009 asset which has no chance of working in TRS2006. It shouldn't be possible to install it.

Just delete the asset and you should revert to the old version. If any traincars are then showing missing dependencies you will need to check whether they are also TS 2009 assets or whether they are requesting specific versions of Superscript in their configs.

Could you please register your copy of Trainz, it helps to see what version you are running and that your a genuine Trainzer, you'll get more help that way. :wave:

<kuid2:122285:508:15> is a TS2009 asset which has no chance of working in TRS2006. It shouldn't be possible to install it.

I have deleted the asset but the old one hasn't reappeared. None of my existing traincars are requiring a new version, they worked with the old one, even newer content.

Superscript Issues:

I've had a very similar problem since installing VicTrainz VR AE, BE, ABE, and BCE cars last week. Am doing some rummaging around in my files to see what's going on with it, I'll let you know if I come up with anything. It is a frustrating problem as pretty much any asset using AJS Superscript now seems to have lost those functions. I'm also investigating to see if the "interim" update to the Superscript Libraries is involved as it's coming up with similar problems to the ones you mentioned. Hopefully I'll have good news for you in a little while.

<kuid2:122285:508:13> is the last version of Superscript for TRS2004, 2006 & TC.

Did some rummaging, deleted and re-downloaded my superscript files and did an extended database repair (this is in TS2009 BTW, I'm sorry if it's of no use in TS2006, I've no idea how Content Manager works for it) and the problem had happily gone away. I hope this helps with your problem, and Andi06, thank you very much for the link... much appreciated.

no, it didnt work

I have deleted the asset but the old one dosent work it appears to need another version to work?? and i have had it with any other versions

is there any version that works properly in trs2006 i dont think it exsists
