I decided to run the TRS19 Hinton route from Hinton to New River. The longest route on the map. 2/3 of the way I was surprised as the empty coal train pulled into a dead end siding at Thurmond and paused for about 10 minutes. Then it resumed the trip. Did the author build in a rest stop? The entire route took 2 hours to run.
I was looking for a nice large route to schedule/timetable some decent size consists without the congestion of a model railroad layout. I tried to load the UMR2019 route but the DLS is down. I really liked the Hinton route although I feel it is not truly representative of West Virginia which is only about 100 miles from me. Once I submerge the rotating pipes, aka rapids, in the river that will help. It is a size and character of the East Kentucky route of TS10 days. I spent a lot of time making it look and work well in TRS19. Hinton is ready to go, "out-of-the-box" except for the first signal the train sees when leaving Hinton. I had to change it to automatic or the train would permanently stop there and never leave the yard..
