Hello, I'm wondering about how to set different speed limit for different trains:
I have a track speed limit of 200km/h, a locomotive speed limit of 160km/h, and a coach car speed limit of 120km/h.
In reality this train will be running at no more than 120km/h, and if I'm driving it I'm responsible for controlling the speed, but I couldn't figure out how to do this in Trainz when AI is taking control of the train.
Currently my solution is to create a separate enginespec that limits the locomotive speed to 120km/h and use it when hauling the 120km/h train, and switch to other speed if needed when hauling other trains.
I've tried to create an enginespec for the coach car and apply it in game, but it didn't work. I don't know if it just don't work that way or I didn't set the enginespec correctly.
Besides, is it possible to set different track speed limit for a single speed sign? I know in the US passenger trains and freight trains can have different speed limits on the same track, but did anyone implement this into Trainz?
Thank you.
