After so many years, and I still can't find the functions I would like to have.

Am I the only one that want's more from this Train Sim? Graphics are great. Variety amazing.

1. I would love to be able to add trains on the spot in Driver (even if they need to be added only in specially designed spots).

2. Being able to clean-up a derailed train so you can continue driving other trains would be a great function. After so many years, I still can't figure out how to do that.

3. Instead of changing the path, junction to junction, is there a way I could reserve the track ahead by blocks? The whole map is a switch-yard. This would make for a great dispatcher game too. I am not asking for AI dispatcher. But no dispatcher at all? I know... the map.

The second one is an option in 09. At the bottom of scenario options, there should be an option for derail clean up. It is defaulted at 1 minute.

In TRS06 someone has made a "re-rail portal" it can delete the derailed train. Then if you want it to, it can spawn the train that just derailed. The spawning part is a bit glitchy, but it deletes just fine.

The first two are done. Not released yet, but they are done. The first was a rule that has been heavily modified, called "Emit Train Now". What this rule does now is bring up a custom menu where you are able to add already saved consists, or you can build your own from your list of rolling stock. You are able to load the entire train and choose which portal it comes out of, all within DRIVER. I haven't messed with it, but there is a Re-rail portal on the DLS I think. Also get ready for an update to that aging F7A & B. Animated fans, trucks, working mars light, new textures, and more!

1. TS2009 TEE supports placing rolling stock in Driver. It is due out in the Spring.

2. As stated above there are a couple of rules that can be added to sessions to do this.

3. There are some rules on the DSL that allow you to control more than one turnout at a time. They are designed for control of crossovers. I don't know if this is what you want to happen. Sounds like you want CTC like control, I don't know if that is available.
