Adding Turnouts to Route

I added turnouts to my route. When I switch direction of the turnout the train goes to the right direction but I don't see the points on the track moving. Should I see the points on the track moving?

Seeing the points move depends upon the type of track.

There are two kinds of track. The old-style spline track where the tracks are just connected and cross each other, there are no moving points, and you need to put in your own track-object frogs manually. The new type of track is procedural track. This track builds the points, and frog automatically and will be animated.

If you want to use procedural track, look for track that has Pro in the name.
