Adding more memory for Vista users

When i bought my 8gig of ddr2 850 it cost a small fortune lol

Now ram's rather cheaper i'd just go with upping actual ram amount especially in vista or win7 beta x64 flavours

That said, 2 gig to 4gig you should see/notice a difference in vista in many apps etc

Anything over 4gig it really only comes into its own when vid editing or vid conversion

Readyboost was a good idea but to my mind it only really helps with minimum amount of ram added (only imho)

The jury's still out on the benefits (if any) of using ReadyBoost. It's supposed to augment the disk cache (not RAM). I haven't noticed any difference whatsoever, although I haven't done quantitative measurements, i.e. comparing frame rates etc.
