Add interior view to coach without interior

Is there any way to add an interior view to a coach that does not have an interior view? Such as the NJ Transit Shoreliner III? (reskin of the MN Shoreliner III) The Shoreliner III looks very close to a Comet V, which is what I am trying to represent. I would be using an existing interior view from a different coach.

You might want to try looking at the config file for a car whose interior view you want to use. There should be an "interior" line with the kuid number. Copy it and paste it into a comparable position in the config file of the car you want to add it to. I can't guarantee that will work, but I've swapped locomotive cab interiors that way.

This will not work on it's own because you need the a.cabfront attachment point. You would have to use PEV's Attachment Maker to add this point.

What does the a.cabfront attachment point do? I've successfully changed cab interiors by swapping kuids in the config files, but the asset already had an interior. So I assume the a.cabfront was already there?

It is the attachment point for the interior mesh so MUST be present.
