Accurate turnouts

Saw a post some time ago where the turnouts had been set at eleven degrees.
Without putting a protractor against the screen how is this achieved?
I would love to smarten up my trackwork to this accuracy.

Possibly by using the direction angle that is now added to the ruler tool in TS12 SP1 - but this is a guess.

I measure a turnout length on Google Earth, using the GE Ruler. An East Broad Top NG RR crossover is much shorter, than a high speed crossover at nearby Mount Union Pa
