Access denied tring to install

The first time I installed it, it worked2nd time tried the install with patch and step by step and it worked but still wouldnt download routes but worked . Inuninstalled it again and then the problem came and i gave up. trainnz classic works good just wasnt what I was looking for. So that would probally mean nothing wrong with drive right?

Now that we've made some progress here. Wyou've told us so far recently is very helpful.

When you reinstalled TRS2006 and ran the patch, did you use TRS2006 in between?

If you did, this could very well be your problem.

You're supposed to just install the program then immediately install the patch without runing the program at all.

Yes, this means your hardware is working okay.

Thinigs are looking up for you clay. Hopefully soon you will have it all just the way it is supposed to work.

One other thing I think is worth mentioning is that you should disable your virus protection while installing the program and patch as well. Other then that it sounds like you are well on your way to success.

LOL Im glad your so optimistic. No I didnt use trains in between install and patch. I thought I followed procedure very carefully but not 100% sure. I just wish it would insall now.And I turn off auto protect and firewall with norton. Do I need to turn off anything else?

Since you've installed this numerous times, there's probably a ton of temporary files in your system. I'm not sure if you would want to take this task on your self so you might want to have a friend help you clean out the temporary files and the registry of anything that says Auran in it first before reinstalling again.

Hi just managed to get back to you all who kindly gave help. Well it seems just 2months after i have a new squeeky computer my Hard drive decided to a Hari Kari, so much for western digital drives, they now replaced it with a seagate. Thanks also for letting me download again and the blame i aimed at 2009 Tranz download version. i have it now working ok so sorry for blaming it on your software. Sods law i guess.
