A really good computer?

I don't think they were actually made in the UK, more likely the sweat shops of the far east.

I bet if you could get hold of one now it may be worth something, I could be wrong about that though.

A little large for a paperweight, but small enough to be a doorstop, I guess.

And, you're right. He did the designing and the elves out in the Far East did the manufacturing.

Probably not, I had one up to three years ago, couldn't sell it so gave it away along with the broken Apricot portable and assorted other PC junk which was cluttering up the loft, the well worn ZX Spectrum did sell though and went for £180 on eBay, slightly more I think than it cost.

Still got the virtually unused original Amstrad DMP 1000 dot matrix printer which came with the PC though, which I found in another pile of junk the other day. Plus the boxed original manual and disks for the Amstrad PC.
