What does a coupler lift-bar do? Just curious, ever since I've set my eyes on a G Scale SD70MAC, and saw a video of someone installing details, I always wanted to know what it does, thanks,
It pulls the pin, uncoupling the coupler. Depending on amount of slack, it might not work until the engine is moved a little. (I've had that happen a few times.)
