A Question on Merging Routes

I would like to merge two routes together into one.
Now that the object of the exercise is known, here comes the mechanics.

Route1 is opened in surveyour.
Merge Route is selected and the pick window for route2 is displayed
Route2 is selected and is overlayed on route1.

Now that the basic mechanics are given, here is the fun part:

Can route2 be rotated 90 degrees prior to being attached to route1 and if it can, how is it done.

... and to answer the next possible question - no, routes cannot be rotated once they have been created so you cannot rotate route 2 and save it as a new route before merging.

thanks guys pware-u sure ur not a mind reader?

This is one question we've all asked at one point in our Trainz'ing career.

Why? We've never been given an answer and only the developer's know.

You also can't, directly, raise or lower the imported route either. Note I said directly. This can be done using another program called TransDEM which lets you adjust the height of a route, among other great things such as creating importing DEM information downloaded from various sources including the NGS map server.
