I Just a new laptop, Deciding Iv would install TRAINZ 06, I went to get my disks and found one broken, So I found one on EBay that I may buy but, Is there a way I can take the downloaded content and put it on a disk including my routes?
Search this forum for instructions on how to backup downloaded assets in TRS2006. Then you can backup from the old computer onto CD or more likely DVD, and restore on the new one. Don't forget to also transfer anything you've created yourself of course.
AFAIK under the circumstances you describe you can legitimately use your old copy's serial number with the copy that you are buying now, especially if you will be uninstalling it on the old computer after transferring the downloaded assets.
Did I not see a post somewhere on these boards, where it was stated that if you had a broken disk, Auran will sometimes replace it for you?
Not sure how right this is, but it would help Butter if it's true.
