If this makes any sense, I'm new to these Trainz Simulators and I was looking at the "Clear Lake Logging 3?" post, that logging route looks great. I love logging trains, I have been to Cass a couple of times. With that clear lake logging route does that mean we can download that route and other routes to our computes and play with them and expand them ect? Hope the questions make sense. Thanks!

Once you download any railroad you can edit in any way you want. HOWEVER, once you modify, you can only keep it on your computer unless the original creator grants you permission to upload your modified version. If you go into Surveyor mode you can edit any railroad you have.

Here's some on the Download Station you might enjoy.

They were made for TRs2004 and I'm running these in TRS2006. I don't know what it would take to make them run in TS2009.

Like jimisham I'm currently running 2006 as well. What I've found with some of the 2004 content is that the later versions like 2006 are slightly different and as a result errors and sometimes missing dependencies result. What I didn't realize in the beginning was that in many cases these errors prevent the object from appearing. The result is that you need to eliminate those issues before the session will operate as designed. It's not necessarily a difficult process but it took me a little time to learn. What I got out of it was a much better understanding of how the entire system works as well as an appreciation for all the work the developers have gone to. I'm sure 2009 may present some of the same challenges but the effort will be rewarding as well.
