You mean as in people who create content then you can download it? The centralised place is the DLS but there are a number of web sites that you can download from. Some people will charge you money if that's your desire.

Basically buy a First class ticket and when you run out of the 100,000 items on their you can look around for something else.

I mean getting them from websites. I already found a few websites for free (Im looking for US 3 ft ng). All i was wondering is what do you do after you download it. Do you have to manualy put it in some sort of folder? or does it do it automaticly. or is there some 3rd way that i dont know about.

Well, you're using CM2 which is unknown to me, but I think, once you download the files from the sites, if its not a zipped file, open up the package and that should start up CM2 which then should just install it for you.

Since you're looking for 3ft gauge stuff, you probably already know this site, but just in case: http://www.steammachine.com

TS2009's CM2 (and TRS2006's CMP) has an import function which can also be used to bring in 3rd party assets. You can access it by clicking on File - Import CDP to load/commit .cdp files or Import Content to load/commit a kuid folder. The Import Content is useful for those instances when the downloaded asset is in a zipped file that unzips into a named folder. Rename the folder to the form kuid xxxxxx yyyyyy or kuid2 xxxxx yyyyy n. The kuid number is in the config.txt file.
