3D animals

During my subsim days, which ended Thursday this week when I got my ts06 cd's, I have noticed animals were kind of like the trees in Trainz Driver...
Mods were made for SH3 which included whales and dolphins...im wondering would it be possible to create (with 3dmax) realistic looking cows, barnyard animals? For TS06...or are we stuck with diarama looking animals?

We do have 3D animals, they are poly hungry, so watch how many you place !!!

I have 3D horses, cows, elephants, lions etc etc

It takes resources to render polys in real time. You don't have enough so you have to do trade offs.
