David, I just recently Downloaded your 30NG 2-4-4-2 Mallet Loco from your Website, And I have one thing to say:
EPIC. WIN.
This Engine is AMAZING! The Detailing is Perfect, the Sounds are UNBELIEVABLY Realistic, and It's Performance is Well Rounded for an Engine it's Scale... It's One of the Best I've Run yet!
I happened to Test the Loco on my 30NG Golde Coast Railway, and Ran a Minor Consist of Four Gondolas on the Line just to see how She Runs, and also to show a bit more of the Progress on the Route Itself... Talk about a lot of Fun!
Here's the AWESOME 2-4-4-2, Pulling out of the Roundhouse in all her Beastly Glory. One of Ben Neal's 30NG 2-4-2Ts happens to be Idling nearby as a Looming Thunderstorm shrouds the Railway in Darkness.
Having collected Four Gondolas, the Loco then Backed down to the Tipple, and Coal was dumped into the Gondolas, created a Typical Cloud of Dust.
So Long Fellas! We're off to the Power Plant...
The Train has now Reached the Coastal Loop, and is Winding it's way through a Tight Radius Curve...
Now, the Train is Crossing the Second of Two Truss Spans on the HUGE, Sea Spanning Trestle Viaduct...
My Apologies for the these Two Screens, as they Have the Default Grid on the Landscape. But Otherwise, the Train has already Wound through the Islands, and finally made it to the Opposite Shore. Here, It's Rolling across another Fill next to the Water, and about to Enter a Tunnel...
This was too cool to Pass up. A Quick Truss Bridge spans an Inlet between two Tunnels, and When Coloured, This will be even Cooler...
Power Plant in Sight! We're nearly to our Destination, and Highballing along the Flat Ground as it Progressively Gets Darker in the Sky...
Having already unloaded the Cars, the Mallet came around a Corner, and Is now getting a Nice Drink of Water... Sometime Soon, the Background will be Filled with Buildings, and the Whole Powerplant will be Surrounded by a Small Town; The Terminus of Sorts for the Golde Coast Railway...
To sum it all up? DOWNLOAD Davis's 2-4-4-2! It's too Cool to pass up... :udrool:
