Hi there. I've just bought & d/l the above but it just crashes out, so...
First off do I need to patch this brand new d/l or not?

Secondly, should I have installed it onto my other Win7 machine which is 32 bit?

Crashes is what way? If you want help you'll have to provide more details, like what did you click on that caused the crash? Did TrainzDiag pass all tests, especially OpenGL?

Trainz runs very well on Win 7 64bit if it is installed properly. It MUST be installed with administrator privelages and with your anti-virus switched off. After installing it must be run with admin privelages too and have Trainz and CMP in your firewall exclusions.

Thanks. it's running ok now. Do I still need to patch it or is the latest d/l already done?

If the opening screen says you have build 42203 at the lower-right, you are fully patched. If not, you MAY want to patch, but the SP2 patch introduces some new problems (which generally can be worked around, but are still annoying.)

There is a new SP3 patch for TS2010

Hopefully fixes some of the problems that SP2 created

Nah, it's build 41491. Is it necessary to do each patch in turn or just the latest one?
