2006 content in 2009

Finally have got one of my 2006 routes into 2009, but it takes an age to load, sometimes it fails completely. I've just exited driver then selected surveyor...............Nothing, although a lot of activity in the computer. When I do get it to run, it suffers badly (worse than 2006) with the "Staggers" Is it my operating system? ATHLON 64x2 dual core 4300+ 3GB RAM RADIUM X 150 pro. Any suggestions out there? I haven't put the patch on, would it make any difference though?

Some might say that the assets don't comply with the theoretical Trainz standards which DLS failed to impose.

Others might say that TRS2009 doesn't comply with the de facto Trainz standards that DLS, TRS2004 and TRS2006 actually work to.

Either way many assets that used to work in TRS2004 and TRS2006 don't work in TRS2009 and it's a pain.

Maybe a future service pack for TRS2009 will restore backwards asset compatibility if enough pressure is applied but so far the signs don't look good.
