2 New problems (PM2IM and CM3.3 - TS2009 SP4)

First problem: PM2IM is not operating correctly when launched from Content Manager (and yes, I am running it as admin)

Error:
pm2imerror.jpg

It's not happening every single time it converts, but when it does, I cannot close the program without using Task Manager.

Second problem: I'm experiencing a lot of file access errors when commiting in Content Manager 3.3 (TS2009 SP4)

Has anyone else encountered these problems (and possibly has a workaround or fix)?

System specs are in my signature.

Yes I am getting quite a few file access errors when trying to commit in CM3.3 (2009 SP4). This happens when I install CDP's of some kuids and CM3.3 refused to automatically commit. I tried to commit manually and the file access error prevented them from commiting. I found that if I checked for errors and there were none, then opened for edit in explorer, opened the config.txt in Notepad, closed the file and tried to commit that most times it commited them. You sometimes have to repeat this process to get CM3.3 to commit. I am still having my 'Save' problem despite another re-install and I am convinced there is a problem in how SP4 is handling the database. Perhaps this file access error is another symptom of the same problem.

I have used PM2IM on a few occasions since installing TS2009 SP4 and it worked OK. May I suggest that you un-unstall PM2IM, clean the registry with CC Cleaner and re-install PM2IM. It's worth a try.

Good news : the PM2IM problem seems to be resolved now.

The not so good news: CM3.3 is still behaving really badly.

EDIT: Spoke too soon about the PM2IM issue - it is playing up when not being run minimized, or if changing an option during the trawl.PEV needs to check the program code and update if needed.

Are there any quick ways of updating multiple mesh references at the same time? I've got several assets that are now requiring an edit from .pm to .im files.
