Surprised there isn't a screenshot thread like this already. This thread is for anypre-1900 shots. Anyway, here's Bristol & Exeter Railway No.41 on an imaginative adaption of the built-in British Midlands route:

This may not be a route, but this locomotive I am working is made for the late Victorian era, in the 1890s USA.

There's nothing quite like a big GWR broad gauge Single steaming through the countryside...
 
I just stumbled across this.. Perhaps we could bring it back to life? :D
(I would myself, but right now I don't have time period screenshots at my disposile)
