That is Looking great, that kind of reminds me of the southern Pacific railroad with how the track crosses over itself btw, I'm envious that you are working for the railroad.

Thanks! And don't be, it's not that great a job as written a page back.

Here's an overview of about 2/3rd of FdAMs current fleet

I didn't do nothing 😂😂 Thats all my partners work here, they are in charge of the projects roster. I only did a bit of weathering on the AC44s and U25Cs and half of the rolling stock, but i try to focus on the route itself to not drag the project along longer than i already have ☠️

And yeah, those are edited payware models, so no release possible...

Great video, Flusi :) !

Two points are proeminent at my eyes :
- the strict rectitude of the track, in straight parts, AND in curved parts !
- the abundancy of the scenery !

I'have really the impression of a trip in the real world 🥳 !!

Cheers,

Philippe

Thanks guys! Yeah, track layouts are pretty important to me - trainz still isnt "quite there yet" especially when it comes to the change from straight to curved, we'd need a new system for that i guess. Also i try to make all areas equally high quality, not like others that only create certain "screenshot parts" and fill in the gaps with generic scenery. I try not to do that anymore

Also, work now continues on the other side of El Mexicano. The tunnel has a 1,85% grade, is 2960m long and therefore needs powered fan doors, similar to the Cascade Tunnel but with a simpler system to get the diesel fumes out after a train has passed. on the higher end lies the siding "Puente Colorado"

Hi Flusi,

Now, that's begining to be very serious ;) ! Enough of these marvelous pictures ;) !
Just to guess this project : about how many kilometers are to be done, in order to your project be complete ?

Cheers,

Philippe

Approximately 170km total. 60 are done so far. The grade down to Salina Cruz is 1-1,5%, not 2,5%, so its gonna be longer than the Atlantic sub to get it down to sea level. There's also gonna be a few plateaus, the Pacific side isnt as rugged and steep. Speeds are faster and less engines are necessary tho

There's been a lot of fantastic work produced on here over the last decade or so but this is right up there if not at the very top.

Absolutely mind blowing work on show here.

Thanks for sharing this.......screenshots that need looked at in depth to fully appreciate the effort that has gone in......astounding.
