They do look very similar, Did WM copy the RDG design? I'd love to see both in trainz, but I cant even find T1 documents online anywhere. 1 more question, what did WM use their 4-8-4's for, and where?

WM and Reading jointly ran the line between Hagerstown and Rutherford, so WM crews got experience with the T1s. Crews liked them, the railroad liked them, so they had their own 4-8-4s built to a very similar design. They were used basically system-wide (except for the Thomas sub and further south due to the curves and grades) for higher priority freight.
