Hey Roy, now all you need is an old red PMG phone box and the transition is closer to complete. closest I found was kuid273129:101354
cheers,

Funny, you should mention this; I am actually building one for Central Division. I am about to release it shortly.

Well, you wouldn't believe what I just saw. A 41 Class pulls up on Platform 6, the driver hops out to phone his girl-friend. No mobile phones in those days.

Hi everyone, just a couple of progress on Katamatite branch. I've been having a frustrating day with trainz not closing then database repairs crashing.

Hi Graeme. Looking good mate. Very nice. Those HD textures sure make a huge difference. Keep up the great work.
Cheers,
Baz.

Not quite to sure, I know for a fact I got a GTX 950 and an Intel core I7-2600. Everything is maxed out at 1920 x 1080 and I'm getting about 30 - 50 fps ( on a 3 baseboard route ), I usually play on medium and get 60+ fps. Also used a bit of post processing on that shot.

The HD 1920x1080 resolution is a huge reason for crispness in a shot. My laptop only runs 1366x768 which is equivalent to standard definiton, so even using HD textures, my shots aren't as crisp and sharp as they could be. Nice shot Hewi and yep, the HD revolution rolls on.
Friday the 13th was the last straw for windows on my laptop, had to reinstall but fortunately have backup cdp of my route.
cheers,
Graeme.

Just progress shots up to Rochester, but after Hewi12 and Toms shots, fabulous picture mate, I'm feeling very inadequate. But having a go and I guess that's what it's all about, learning as you go.
Cheers, Baz.

I guess I'll drop in one more while I'm at it, thanks for the kind words everyone :)

Hi again everyone,
I am having another try at showing WIP on Southlines, The pictures aren't nearly the quality of some of the recent shots here but I do what I can.
Thanks Graeme for the suggestion of using hostthenpost.

First shot is showing that even though older buildings don't throw shadows, the focus is on the train.

The buildings mightn't be so good close to the tracks, but look OK in the distance.

The scene looks better with HD textures and track.

Some of the scenery doesn't age.

Some of the trees from earlier versions don't show up so well but who is looking at the trees?

Thanks to ATD for the locos and rolling stock and all the other content creators for the items I have used.
Bye for now,
Tom

Nice shots Tom, scenery not bad either! Good to see Southlines is still going strong and getting a HD makeover.
cheers,
Graeme.
