The Black Water Railroad

The Black water RR was pulled together in 1980. It was origanaly started to run to a few mines and milles in the area but that all changed a few towns nearby wanted sevice and the Black Water came to fill the order and It has never stoped.

The Derry and Castle Rock

The Derry and Castle Rock was built in 1940 To haul lumber out of the New England forests. Management then decided when the war was over to let it rot in the forest and sell the Locomotives annd rolling stock To other RR's or for scrap. But in 1976, The town leaders of Castle Rock decided To piece Together a small train To Run trough Town To celebrate The Town's History. it was such a success, That they decided To open more parts for tourist travel and Begining in 2009, There are plans to open it once again For freight travel.
