Steamshots USA..Lets See Some Steam Shots..

On a clear December day in 1952, we catch New York Central's combined trains number 1 and 65, the Pacemaker and Advance Commodore Vanderbilt, as they near Gary, Indiana. The second car back is a through sleeper from Los Angeles, off of the joint RI/SP Golden State. Holiday traffic has swelled this train to 16 cars, hardly a stretch for the giant Niagara on the point.

By mid-1945, the Union Pacific was in a motive power crisis. The mainline was overwhelmed with traffic crossing hauling wartime supplies. As such, the Union Pacific began a desperate search for large articulated motive power. What they found was 6 ex-Norfolk and Western class Y3 2-8-8-2's, and 30 Chesapeake and Ohio class H-7 2-8-8-2's.

Here we see #3670, ex-N&W 2030 about 30 minutes past the summit, as she makes her way towards Laramie with a long and heavy load in tow.

What engines did you use for the repaint? Or if they aren't a repaint, where may I find these engines?

you open the locomotive's config file or jut open it in content creator plus and find the main bogey and replace it with the one you want to use.

but it's easier with rolling stoke or a diesel than a steam locomotive. If you look carefully you can see that the pistons and cylinders aren't connected to the steam chest.
