Now all there needs to change is from a double stack to a single stack, get a drop style coupler and different tender trucks. Then you'll have a MILW S3 4-8-4 ready for the Avery Drexel route.

Worn and tired, in June 1962 UP #844 deadheads over The Hill one last time headed for the Cheyenne Shops for a rebuild and renumbering to #8444, a number she would bear for the next 27 years.

(It looks like our minds were on the same thing Brandon!)

1939: FEF-1 #800 leads a passenger train over Sherman Hill.
