Australian screenshots

quiet frankly, I dont see the reason for wishing and complaining. David hasnt forgottten he will release it when he is ready. With the amount of stuff I saw on the dLS this morning released by David, it will take you days to wade through it all.

He does it for nothing in his own time he does have a real life in case you forgot, and what does he get in return? "when are you going to release xyz?"

I had the same issues until I decided that I would make what I want and release it when I want, because I could not keep up with the demands placed on me, and my stuff is nowhere as good as David's, so imagine what he is copping. You dont see all of it here, he probably gets snowed under with emails and PM's as well. (Reminder to self, make a soap box in gmax)

cheers

Pete I agree with both you and Raichase,

yes we all wish to see certain things created and released but soemtimes it is not possible. These creation being released are wonderful items and are being done for free, you would be whining if davido chose to release them as payware, be grateful you have these fine items, creatign a content and or maps is not a snap of the finger process, you can only go as fast as real life permits, not any faster. If to much pressure is put on the creators they may pack up their bags and stop creating maps and content. then you will be whinning even more so, my advice is to just sit back enjoy what you have enjoy the work being shared by others, and in closing the way the DLS is spitting things out who know if the items are up to davido's likings then they may appear soon. now back to the screenshots. sorry all for my rant.

cheers

Pete - cheers mate, downloading it now :).

You people are never happy, are you? Davido just released a whole slew of new stuff, and yet all you can moan about is what he didn't release? Just be happy with what you have, or one day you'll have nothing :|

like gee wiz

it was only a thanking DavidO for his latest stuff plus just something shown here that i wished i had at some stage

wasn't like I was demanding it

thought this was a forum for seeing new Australian content and suggestions and input

And sorry to DavidO if it did seem harsh - as my comment on here was not meant to be - was just wishful

wasn't like I was demanding it

The mix of foliage in this shot is particularly pleasing. Well done!.
The other shots show some great thought & choice of foliage/texture too.
But thought I'd better just load up this reply with just one pic. :)

Thanks for that, i worked hard on it but there are no mangroves on dls that i could see so i had to make do. ! :)

Alco_power - Very nice work there mate. Will you be releasing this route when you finish it? Having travelled the North Coast line many times on the XPT I can safely say you recreated the line quite well :D !

Electro - Is that a CL class I spy there? Looking pretty good so far :D !

Also a screen from me as a tribute to the great content released recently by Dave (Davido) and Pete (ad602000).

Nice Loco there Electro... is it a CLF or CLP?

Yeah Nice to see the CL finally. I am guessing it is a CL, because that is our era.
And when I was on the job, we only had CLP's this side of the border.
I think the CLF has a bulge on the cab roof too, and the CLP has no typhoon on the nose and has a different rear end (HEP)
Cheers

Hey Electro buddy :D

Was there any CLP or CLF locos in that colour is or it just a random fix??

Love those SAR colours, cant wait for 2013, Adelaide will finally be elctrified!! I know to much when my dad works for AdelaideMetro as a train driver :)

Thanks, SARRailways, anyone got any good photos of The Adelaide Suburban and country broad gauge pics from 1970-1980?

 HI
Yes its a CL class ( well what i can make of one ) :hehe:
I try and model from photo's and do the best i can.
Sorry the texture's are plain as i don't know how to do them properly,
but its a start, :D

RE: cjgeddes how are the 2100 class coming?
very slowly i wasnt realy happy with them and started them from scratch again.
I will put in some screen shots when they are back in Trainz. :D

RE: Was there any CLP or CLF locos in that colour is or it just a random fix??

A little run down the built-in route:

By the way, does anyone know where to get some decent Australian routes ?:)

alco power, you have quite the hand for the route building, all of your screenshots to date have been bloody nice to look at. I'm not sure how prototypical your latest screens are as I am not familiar with that stretch of track, but going from your recent offering of the south coast, it looks pretty bloody good. Well done mate, hope to see more from you.

ad602000 - had a look at the Aurora cars this morning before dashing off, may I just say that the attention to detail on the interior of the cars is awesome. Makes you interested in seeing the train, rather than just the locos on point. Well done mate, some quality rolling stock has been released to be hauled by the new 422 class. I especially enjoyed looking around the inside of the lounge car :).

Electro - who cares about the textures looking basic, you can always update them with time - the shape of the thing is awesome and very true to life from what I can see from your screenshots. Well done mate, the model is looking good :D.

hey mate thanks for that . My south coast route is more accurate than the north coast route as i live at Kiama and i know the line very well. I have only done Albion park to Bombo so far and although there is not much track diagrams to do between there its just a matter of scenery and trying to put as much detail in as i can. I want to get it done to manildra so i can do freight workings there and work back towards wollongong etc.

Eventually i want to even generate the unanderra - moss vale line and the inner harbour terminal for grain and coal BUT that will be last on my list!.

once bombo is fully done i will be posting screenies in the next week or so.

Thanks for that.

Ps i want to put it on DLS when im done.

.

Thanks mate,. have made more effort with south coast. will definatley be putting more work in over the next few weeks seen as all this new content has given me something more to work towards!. . . .

on that same note, i know that my route would look mighty fine with some really nice brand new 80 class loco's fresh from cardiff workshops BUT that was on another episode of oprah!

After a long time in 'storage', L1160 leads the first electric goods down the grade into Lilydale, having just passed the Cave Hill quarry.

Further on, L1160 has just passed the arrival signal, and is about to cross the Maroondah Highway crossing into Lilydale yard.
