Morning all,
Usually I do 1950s transition era stuff in TRS but I'm curious about what content would be ideal for USA/Canada freight train consists in the 1960s-1970s era, maybe even early 1980s? There are a lot of models covering this era so I have trouble picking out what are the best. Jointed Rail is pretty much a "household name" when it comes to modern North American rolling stock. I was told a few pieces of advice, like to focus on equipment that had roller bearings and range of 20 years for the mix of freight cars I'd use in a consist. Can anyone offer any other assets or tips that would be helpful for making good realistic consists fitting the 60s to the early 80s?
