Not able to save a night session.

My first post. So I've been using Trains since 2004 and recently purchased 2019. My question is while creating a route, I change the time of day to something between 10pm and say 2 am, save it and run that route. It comes up as daylight. I've tried creating new sessions etc with no change. Anyone else experience this? When I return to surveyor, it's night time and dark.

The clock in 'Edit Environment' is only for setting and checking the environment in surveyor. For the session you have to add a rule to the seesion, which allows to set the starting time of the session ('Quickdrive' or 'Startup Options').
