Using TRS19 Track Concrete Procedural - Seasonal for main line....Catenary used is Catenary Double RO/Single RO. RO = Romania I believe..Speeds looking achieve would be max 250 klms. Have tried TGV's but they seem to have a problem in TRS19 ie controls in DCC mode 'buggy' and failing to load passengers as well as giving a max speed of around 119 klms.
Looking at some of the Japan consists, yet to test any.
TL route length around 150 kilometres for main line. Couple of electrified branch line and non-electric industries.
Main issue finding a consist with pantograph to reach speeds up to 250klms.

i am not trying to steal the thread, but in order for the electric trains to work, do the track just need a panto-graph above the track as long as the electric train can touch it? i have a 3rd track in a 2-300 mile route i am building for passsenger service.i just bought the new high speed train from 3dzug https://store.trainzportal.com/collections/dlc/products/etr-1000-frecciarossa i just need a single cantenary and maybe a double for certain sections. any help would be appreciated.

i am talking about the high speed trains, 3rd rail meaning 3rd track for just my high speed train, is the cantenary just for looks? or is it required for the etr 1000 high speed train?

Have now! Many thanks Graham...they seem to be just the ticket, although I do not see them loading passengers at stations. Doors open but no-one gets in. Perhaps there's a dead fish inside! Using AJS stations maybe its a config issue or a db repair.

Not sure about the passenger problem though.
Try substituting this in one place as a trial..it's an updated AJS station, stops the big maroon platform number from dropping a shadow in driver mode too.

Well the consist problem is solved but now I cannot load/unload passengers from stations!
Get this message [see image] and I have no idea what it means. Tries several different stations scenarios all producing same message. Train doors open...train doors close...people will just not get on the bloody train even if I use the conventional 'load' command! Thoughts..
