The scrapper had increased the scrap value of the 4-6-0
locomotive and tender, the goal is now at $65,000 the deadline also has been extended to the 28th of February.

Well they got a good head of time to get some cash, they currently have $62,517

Great news everyone! The 65,000 goal has been met and has an extra 1,000 dollars the engine has been saved!

that's great news, now on to the next step which is moving the engine and tender to the Texas state railroad for storage and eventually the restoration to operation or display once it gets to Florida on the Orlando and Northwestern Railroad.
