Now What's That Copper Watching?

Just after finally getting back onto the mainline, the driver of the GWR Large Prairie Tank notices the policeman standing at the end of the platform and thinks 'what is that copper looking at so intently, I wonder', followed briskly by 'no time to daydream now. Back to work!'.
