Copy and paste

Hi,
i have part of a section of baseboard where I have created a yard but I want to move it all to a different part of my layout on a blank baseboard I've tried copy and paste but it lets you drag a box around the area it says toggle button to now paste the selected area but when I try to paste nothing happens. This is on iPad trainz 2
