    Norm,

Never a bad thing, using Ben’s stuff.

The yard in Wilmington was very big. In Google Earth, the sad footprint of a very large roundhouse is still present. The one you added would fit there just fine. I’ve seen photos of the Wilmington shop working on at least 6 GG1 engines and some other engines at one time.

The yard is still very large and apparently used quite a bit, but of course nothing like it was in the heyday for Pennsy. I love your pics.

Nice mix of locomotives. Have you thought of trying some more historical motive power?

Some on DLS (be sure to check legacy versions such as TS2009) and TrainzProRoutes (free registration required to download). K&L has an excellent PRR electric switcher (payware).

It has its moments, but can be sporadic. Maybe I can gin up some interurban shots, they get popular from time to time.

South of Philly, a GG1 passenger consist exits 30th Street Station as a freight pulled by a P5aM crosses ahead on the elevated tracks. Both are headed southbound.

Oh nice shot Heinrich! Is that TRS19? Now I've got to move my version over! Thanks

The GG1 screams down the main line at over 100 mph, leaving the P5aM way behind. As the GG1 whips past the Marcus Hook refineries and crosses into Delaware, it meets a steam engine freight heading north to PA and blasts its horn in a salute of respect.

    Norm,
Yes, it is TRS19. I did a straight download from the DLS for the route, and it came out very nicely. Always some missing assets but nothing I noticed.

It's one of only two electric routes I have that I can run my Pennsy electrics on - this and Jrfolco's Baltimore route but restricted to the main line. Wish there were more.

Wow, TRS19 really does improve the appearance of this old route! This is my modified version imported without fine tuning the environment.

Thanks for pointing this out Gary.

Wow, your route really looks fine! I really like what you did with the Wilmington Yard.

    Glad to help.

It looks like a whole new route.

I gotta do something about that track though.
