Steam locomotive L-3599 with the Rīga to Berlin high speed train about to depart! Oh... It seems it really is just a movie... I mean, you can even see the bluescreen...
It looks that Google drove right through the set of Dream Team 1935 in Cineville, Latvia.

And something without a locomotive and very rusty and old and soviet - the Seda peat railway station in Latvia. One of the few working peat railways left in the country.

Canadian National 4-8-2 Mountain 6043 in Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

This locomotive pulled the last scheduled regular train in Canadian history when in April of 1961,
it hauled passengers and freight from The Pas, Manitoba to Winnipeg
thus ending the steam era in Canada (except for historic and leisure steam trains).

WOW! That's allota coal!

It sure is! I was hoping to go down I-90 and get some more pics, but then I got sidetracked again following another road. I manage to do that while looking for pictures. Just along I-90, not too far from these shots, is one of the strip mining and loading operations. There's a big balloon track there and the trains line up like air cargo jets waiting for take-off. :)

EDIT: More links...

A view from I-90 at a train toward the mine.

An empty going towards the mine breaker.
