SF Bay RR Alco S-2 #25 (and #23 partially visible) at San Francisco, CA (Cargo Way/Pier 96).

Until 1993 these units were switching the Embarcadero (SF Belt RR). From what I know they are still owned by the City of SF but are now leased to the SF Bay RR to operate at Pier 96.

EMD repowered Baldwin #27 can be seen from bird's eye view.

Behind the camera, along the Yellowstone River is the former MILW Pacific Extension. This company bypassed Forsyth while the GN made it an important crew changing point.

Although the number is impossible to see, it is the AR2-01 since there is only one in the country and just two in the world.

Every time I storm chase in this region, we stay in a nearby hotel and I can hear the train horns all night. When we leave to go out chasing, or to eat at the Big Texan (the place with the 72oz steak, I watch the action when we cross over the yard. It's quite the place to watch trains, I can imagine.
