Zec's Traffic Converter

Still plays with Trainz
Kudos to Zec for the Traffic Converter. We have needed something like that for a long time. The concept is great but I can not get either the landscaping truck or the the Ford van to appear on the roads. I think I followed the read me rules. Anybody have any suggestions?

Great! Now Randy has the converter along with over 1000 other Trainzers. Will Randy or somebody let me know if they get it to work and if so offer a suggestion as to why I can not.
Thanks
Gary

seems I forgot to give this is a test in 09/10... :s

I won't be able to give it a go till later tonight. However, another option would be to clone an appropriate region, and swap the existing vehicles for new ones using the traffic converters :)

Earth to Zec!!!
Are you going to be getting back to us regarding whether or not Converter works in 09/10?

I'm really sorry guys, been extremely busy lately :(

I've just tested this on a new layout that I've been fiddling with. The layout is using the S&C 1960's region.

As a test, I added my DMC-12 traffic vehicle to the traffic via the map's config. kuid:103475:29000

Code:
car0 <kuid:103475:29000>

That's what went into the config.

This was under TS2010 SP2.

It did appear in the traffic, however it may be a little while before your chosen car does. Of course, remember to have traffic turned on.

The converters are not an automatic thing. You must convert each traffic item to a traffic style asset (actually a trackside object), otherwise it will not show in-game. It is for this reason that I made the tutorial, and the converters. You need to create a new asset, referencing the originals, which is then referenced by the region/map.

Hope this helps.
