Your Old Newb/First Projects

Hi all,

I know that there is another thread already along the lines of this, but that was more a contest rather than just showing screens. This can be a fun thread where we can repost old screenshots used to show long abandoned projects; locomotives, rollingstock, reskins, scenery, routes.

I'll start off:

This isn't my very first route since I lost original trainz projects after numerous un-installations and re-installations. Titled the CSX Ashland Line (fictional) in trainz, it is the oldest I currently have on this hard drive. It seems the textures are either missing or were lost, but here are some key places along the very short line.

These are from a long forgotten prototypical -if you can even classify this as prototypical - D&RGW Durango yard and surroundings. This one is titled D&RGW & RGS V2; I have no idea where V1 went or if there even was one.

Great theme for a thread - why hasn't this been done before?

I honestly can't remember if this 'route' (it amounted to about four baseboards) was an early TRS04 effort or if it goes all the way back to Trainz 1.3, either way this screenshot is saved in an archive as 'screen_001.jpg'. It was not my first effort, but was before I figured out 'Ctrl+H' or 'F5' before taking a screenie. It has all the newb traps - ordinary looking track, early default content (it was dead sexy at the time!), 'carpet' ground texture, bad hand-made terrain etc, but I was hooked anyway....

With a bit of time, effort and patience, the screenies that came after can be found here...

Well, never knew what happened to the thread but this is my first route that I am almost done with, maybe beta testing coming soon!

Edit:dietrich, how big is that route anyway?

Where can I get that roundhouse? I searched the DLS for both "Full circle roundhouse" and "full circle round house" but I couldn't find it. I had all versions from original trainz to '06 checked off.
