Nice work Tomahawk You rock! :)

Thank you kindly, but I'm just 1 of a million.

I've been working on the station area, and have added a few details.

Great shots Tomahawk368! I've been watching your route grow in anticipation. It never ceases to amaze me how one can start from scratch and turn a blank baseboard into something like this. :)

I hate to be a pest but I had two *where did you get that item* from questions. Hopefully you can help.

The first: on the platform, I notice a wood border between the platform and the rails. Is that a separate spline or does it come with the platform? Either way, do you know its KUID?

Good eye. Thanks!

Work continues.

Second, do you know the KUID of those brick supports on the bridge on your right? I'm constructing my own bridges in my own route and despite my best efforts, can't find that bridge support on the DLS. @@

Any help you could provide would be most appreciated.

Keep up the great work: I love the depth of what you are working on. :)

Those aren't seperate objects, I think that's one whole bridge. Look up: Bridge brick de 2t FR Sombre It might be on the DLS, not sure though.

No problem, and thank you for your kind words...
The platform is all 1 spline. Look up "Platform Low Asphalt 3". I also used #2, which does not have a boarder.

Work continues on the park...

You are correct kind sir: thank you! It is a built in item (I had disabled). Even though the platforms are built in, I think it might be suitable for what I am trying to model. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for letting me know. I had this on my machine but didn't know about it. I love your last shot!

The spur which breaks off of the Winchester Branch is of little importance, and shouldn't really be there anymore, and I really didn't want to go through all the trouble of kit-bashing it.
If the line were more prominent, then I would've done more.
Besides, I'm not going for 100% accuracy here.

a few days ago i started to build my own track.
it will be completely imaginary and located on an island(3X4 tiles),the time will be around 1940-1955.
today i have completed the island outlines and the main hights it will have.
work now starts on the tracks and later the buildings and instalations.

Hello all,

Here are some shots of my progress. This is the Death Valley Line.

Before

After

The original layout had a single track tunnel and a flat grade. I replaced the tunnel with a double track tunnel and added a 2% grade. The retaining wall was added and the original segment of track was retained.

Comments welcomed.
