It's been a while since I posted a progress shot so I thought I'd share a few from my Seattle based route open to a little artistic interpretation.:)

West Seattle lift bridge (I know its meant to be a bascule bridge but I think this suits the surroundings better plus I couldn't find a large single track bascule bridge,)

Great shots Bassist! Coming together nicely if you ask me.

817Taylor, please do not type in capital letters. People think you are shouting when you type like that. I would also suggest you proofread your post for mistakes.

To take screenshots, you press the prt sc (print screen) key. Navigate to your screenshots folder and it should be there.

okay, a few from me. This is off a shortline i named the "Missouri RIver Valley RR" not very good shots (still strying to get back in the hang of trainz) but it feels great to be back creating again.

the short line's heavy 4-axle power, an ex CNR GP9-Slug-GP9 lashup, backs out of the storage sheds and heads for the Colton Grain Co sidings. in the background can be seen the line's dilapidated roundhouse, coal chute, and water tank.

Meanwhile, over at the roundhouse, the line's tourist engine, an aeging 2-8-2, rests in the weeds of the old service area. this is actually inside the wye that is used to serve Colton Proper. cars for the Colton industry tracks are left at a passing track a mile or so from town. after the other switching is done, the engine reverses back to this siding and pushes the cars into colton and through the streets. this is necisarry because all the sidings are facing point turnouts in Colton and their are no escape tracks.

while all this is going on, the line's original power rests by the Kerry gravel loader.

the GPs reverse down to the wye, with Colton in the background.

yeah, it's coming along slowly...i discovered a couple "new" (air quotes) cars on the DLS today, so i got sidetracked rumbling around the PO&N and haven't worked on this much. it'll get there, just not very fast:hehe:

Currently reinstalling Trainz 2010 due to my brainlessness. The patcher is like watching grass grow LOL

Some older shots from a branch line which has become a larger scale project than I was expecting. Currently have around 45 Kilometers and expanding fast.

One of the last station areas (O'Sullivans Beach) I completed, Currently working on a Interchange station (pics soon) from the branch line to the mainline.

My first screenshot ever on this forum (I think). Early stage, still lots of work before this screen is done. The textures are auto generated, and highly temporarely ;).

However, I wonder, would it ever be done like this in real life, or is there any other way to make two lines meet in rough mountains? :o

olpe: I think two lines meeting like this is fine..Suggest you put more slant on the Mountains they look to much Straight up and down.. I use hand generated topology to me it looks more realistic..
