Also can someon help me contac the owner of RRMODS. I bouht a gp40 (WP) and cause I refuse to use paypal. I was unable to get it. I just want them sent to their owner. ME. well am going now but I serously want my GP40s (WP). Thaks to all the owners of all payware sites. You make amazing content.

Please do not quote pictures needlessly: they waste bandwidth and increase the loading time of a page.

If you want to contact the owner of rrmods, go to their homepage and click on contact. You'll find an email address there.

The first two screens werent from me, they were Taurus's I was just asking where he got the bridge from, but would also be keen to know where that f45 came from...:hehe:

Okie dokie. Well, as 817TAYLOR pointed out, he sent a friend (me) his WIP route so that I could test it out. He also asked me to take a few screenshots of what he has with what rolling stock I have, so...
the fruits of my labor :hehe: :

Sorry. I rather like taking pictures. I've learned my lesson though: only ten pictures allowed per post. Now I know. I just couldn't leave these three out.
So anyways, the route. I mean, it's obviously a work in progress (otherwise it wouldn't be on this thread), but as far as first routes go...
this one is far from bad.
Nice work Taylor.

Whats that bridge your using in the right corner of the 1st shot? do you know where i can get it?

Let's bring some life back into this thread...

This is from a project I'm working on with captainkman. It's the route (mostly freelanced) of the branch line in the 1957 ealing comedy "The Titfield Thunderbolt." I thought i'd show a few pics showing various spots and progress with the route just to get some more press for it. if anyone's interested, go to the thread "announcing the Titfield Thunderbolt Project" in freeware announcements.

The movie centers on a battle between the town of Titfield and the bus company Pierce and Crump, who are trying to take over the services of the branch line to the town (which was to be closed by BR) Instead, the town buys the railway and runs it itself. Here the bus races by its headquarters in a bid to beat the train to Mallingford.

The station at Titfield. The only engines the line ever used are the old-timey in the back (the Lion in real life, called "The Thunderbolt" in the movie) and a 14xx 0-4-2 (out of sight behind the GWR 51xx)

The turntable at Mallingford, the junction town where the branchline to Titfield splits off. I really overdid the weeds, and the steam affects will be bye-bye in the final release.

In the movie, after the bus guys wreck the passenger train (with the help of the county steamroller driver, whose steamroller the crew accidentally wrecked) the fireman, Dan, and the railway's financer, Mr. Valentine, roll down to Mallingford and steal a second 14xx class engine. However, a drunk Mr. Valentine doesn't line the table properly, and they soon steam off down the streets of Mallingford. Right into...

...a tree. Yes, this really happened.

The rest of the route isn't textured yet, but i'm proud of the work i did here. The trains look beautiful steaming by this spot.

That's all for now!!! If you want to look up the movie, it's on Youtube, just search "Titfield Thunderbolt."
