That's not funny. Amtrak doesn't run Superliners in Wilmington, Delaware. Wilmington is along the former Pennsylvania Railroad electrified main line known as the North East Corridor. Superliner hauled trains can't run on the Corridor due to catenary changes.

I'm sorry if I sound a bit harsh. I just don't find derailments humorous. It scares me to death, and I'm sorry if it came out like I was reprimanding The Onion to the extremes. They're just not funny to me, they annoy me to no end.
