(Yet) another session for Harbor Master

I have uploaded (yet) another session for HarborMaster 1b for TRS2004 and 06, and for TRS2009 in Compatibility Mode.

All the assets needed by the session are on the Download Station and in the file that can be downloaded here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/238425000/RollingStock_RZD_1.cdp

The task sound easy:

Chuck and Joe, this is the Dispatcher.
A short three hour shift this morning.
Load the flat cars standing in the TOFC yard with army tanks for unloading at the Heavy Lift Wharf.
While you are over that side, round up the empty tank cars at Boutique, Dry Dock, Oleo, and Sintering and Ceramics.
Load the orange tank cars with diesel at the Conoco loading gantry, south side, and the yellow tankers with Furnace Fuel Oil (Crude) at the north side gantry.
Deliver two diesel to each of S&C and Dry Dock, two FFO to Oleo and three FFO to Boutique.
Leave the tankers for unloading at each location.
Return with the flats and park them in the yard before signing off at Loco.
Remember that the coupled pair of T3E locos will only get 4 loaded tank cars up the steepest grades.
Give way to all other trains. Keep within yard speed limits.
See you tomorrow night.

It turns out to be a bit more difficult because of the heavy weight of the tank cars, particularly when loaded, and the steep grades on the route. When I set it up thought that it could be completed in an hour; it took me over twice that time.

As with other sessions on this route, the AI at five minute headway is quite intensive. Keep a good lookout for the other trainz and always give way at squeeze points.

In TRS2009, AI plus interactive industries might be fragile. I'd recommend relatively frequent saves.

For TRS2004/06 users the AI might cause stuttering. Edit Central Portal Control in Edit Rules to tone the AI down if necessary.

Look for this thumbnail on the Download Station:

Good luck,

Hi Phil,

I don't know what I was doing on the 2nd of june, but I completely missed your announcement.:D
Rapidshare is transferring the nescessairy file as we speak, the rest will follow.

Greetings from nighttime Amsterdam,

Jan

Thanks Phil, Another fun run on your Harbor route once more. I quite enjoy running engines and rolling stock around this route.

I report any hassles (TS09) if any pop up.

EDIT: Question : Was the session supposed too be in the download from rapidshare as well Phil? I grabbed that file and has all dependencies but no session. And alas I don't see it on DLS as of yet.

Cheers

Trent

I have just installed the Russian rolling stock, and I am missing some dependencies. Also I can't find the session on the DLS.

The missing KUIDs are:

Hi Kaleb --

"I have just installed the Russian rolling stock, and I am missing some dependencies."

The dependencies you list are all contained in that one cdp file that you downloaded from Rapidshare. I've tested it by dragging and dropping the cdp file into a fresh install of TRS2009. I can assure you that all dependencies are present and correct (Sir!).

Same result with a fresh install of TRS2004.

Can I suggest you re-install?

Trent and Kaleb --

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go the Rapidshare route and I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to upload the session to the Download Station. Three rejections thus far.

I haven't given up, yet - well, not quite, so mouse click here:

Tell me how you find this little sesion.

Phil

Thanks Phil,

Loading it up now, Will report if any bugs etc arrise :)

More hours of fun running around your harbor layout ( or should I say getting smashed by AI trains LOL I am always impatient)

Update : Works great Phil, Played the session this afternoon and had a ball. Once again I terminated myself with an AI train ( as I seem to always do lol) but once I restarted and paid attention, it was thoroughly good fun once again. Thanks for bringing out another session for an excellent layout. Look forward too more in the future Phil.

Cheers

Even I find the AI a challenge. With my other routes the AI is always for or against you. With this one it comes in all directions.

What I also enjoy is seeing maybe three or four AI simultaneously.

G'day Phil,

Oh hell yeah mate I do really enjoy the AI trains, makes me use my brain ( hmm my wife thinks I got one still) abit more whilst driving a consist around.

Yes I do enjoy seeing a few AI trains moving around as I am shuffling a consist around etc. makes it feel alot more realistic so to speak.

I look forward too any more sessions you bring out. They are tiptop.

Cheers

Trent
