Why not put animated bells on steam locos? You can have smoke that pours out of the whistle when you blow it, so why not animate the bells when you press the 'b' key? I put this here because none of my threads EVER get submitted to the suggestion boxcar.

I believe it is possible. I seem to remember someone talking about adding animation to the bell command (to make a crane or something)

it is possible. Marlboro's Pacifics have an animated bell and whistle chord, activated via the pantograph key.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but I think a much better suggestion would be to make it so that only the lead locomotive sounds it's bell when you ring it.

There's a 0-6-0 switcher out there with an animated bell. It can be done if the creator wants to go to the trouble.

It needs to be done via script. Generally, these types of things are left to the creators/scripters to get working, since the main focus of Auran is bug squashing and similar. I do know Eldavo recently produced a script that made the bell animated when you actually activate the bell, instead of the pantograph, as well. Need to try and contact him about it
